The Cabin

SLEEPS 4 PEOPLE MAXIMUM.

The Cabin sits right on the lake with a large deck to enjoy the beautiful view. There is one bedroom and bathroom plus two twin sleeper sofas and can sleep up to 4 people maximum.
There is a full kitchen, dining space and living space. The cabin is not handicapped accessible. Great for a weekend getaway or family vacation!

Open All Year Long: Minimum 2 night stay

We provide mattress pads, top and bottom sheets and blankets. You will need to bring your own pillows, also as our policy states (you need to bring your own paper products (paper plates, paper-towels, silverware, napkins, cups, toilet paper and Kleenex). We will provide minimal dishes and cookware.


Check in time is 4:00pm
Check out time is 10:00am

Pets are not allowed.

Deposits are non-refundable. Credit card information is required and held in the event of damage.

  Beautiful cabin - paneled with breakfast bar right beside the Lake. Nice beach area and hiking. Itaska State Park is a gem only 30 minutes away.
  We spent 6 relaxing days there and enjoyed every minute of it. Bring your own towels and bedding.

  We stayed at the Cabin for a week as part of a large family vacation (the rest of the family stayed on the property at the Bliss House). The location is beautiful and so peaceful. The cabin is right on the lake with access to a dock and paddle boards, a canoe and kayak. The cabin is exactly as described and could actually fit more than 4 people. My family of 4 fit just fine. I would have loved a few extra days to spend alone here in the quiet. The only cons for me were the tiny shower, no laundry, and some of the things that we were required to provide for our stay.

  Great place to stay on a nearly private lake. Sunfish, gills and perch caught right off the dock. Larger bass reside just off the dock on the larger lake to the north.

  Our stay in The Cabin at Camp Bliss was very comfortable. They had all the amenities and basic kitchen supplies available to meet our needs for a three night stay. We made good use of the canoe, paddle boards, and kayaks, as well as the gas grill and fire pit. The location is close to Walker, so easy access to shops, restaurants, and groceries. We would definitely return to this quiet retreat.

  This cabin was perfect. Exactly what I was looking for. Beautiful windows overlooking the lake and a large deck for getting lost in a good book and the view. We went swimming off the private dock, kayaked on what seemed to be our own private lake, and went biking on The Heartland Trail and Paul Bunyan Trail. Wanda, the manager, was friendly and very prompt in her replies to my questions. We plan to return.

  We really enjoyed our stay at The Cabin. It was clean and comfortable, and the kids loved the loft. Lots of fun activities and the water just steps away - great location. Peaceful and beautiful. Kitchen has a lot of counter space which is a huge plus for a family, easy to prep food, and a newer fridge. A few extra forks would be a good addition - we only had three for four of us (we had brought plastic though), and a couple of wine glasses would have been great as well (if you want something other than tall melamine cups, bring your own). The downstairs room isn't accessible except by going outside, so younger kids couldn't sleep down there. Our kids (11 and 13) would have been fine but chose to make up beds in the loft. There are two twin fold-outs in the living room if your kids are too young for the loft. Overall the perfect little cabin for a family getaway.
